‘I’
11 minutes | Experimental Short Film | No Dialogue
‘I’ was born from a personal need, a longing to witness myself anew, to reconnect with my body and the wildness within. I was drawn to nature as both setting and subject, as if returning to a primal ground where observation becomes recognition.
This film is a silent self-portrait; a poetic gesture toward embodiment, femininity, and the instinctive rhythms often lost in daily life. Through the act of filming, I attempted to strip away narratives and instead offer presence to let the body speak, to let the earth reflect.
At its core, ‘I’ is a process-based work. Every aspect from performance to cinematography, from editing to sound design was shaped through improvisation, allowing the creative team to engage in an open-ended, real-time exploration of image, rhythm, and feeling.
